more favourite things....

Recently I have really been falling for the charm of Kewpie dolls.
The two standing were birthday presents, but the two sitting I found this week, a bit worse for wear, but still brilliant.

Is it just me or does the standing boy seem to be advising the standing girl to keep back from the new wailing pair?

my favourite finds....

It's not often I take home the treasures I find. I usually take great delight in letting you see them, love them, take them home! But some things I fall so in love with that they go home with me, even if it's just for a while...

These 1950's/60's head vases really made me smile. I particularly like the original pearl necklace and earrings still attached to the larger one. X

Something old...

Beautiful beaded and embroidered small bags perfect for a brides " something old ", some dating back to the 1920's.

A very British thing....

Nothing more British than a lovely cup of tea from a lovely china teapot, cup and saucer.

This special cup and saucer is dedicated to Annie Gough and dated 1892, beautiful. X
